Niki Hitch, Certified Integrative Health Coach

Hi, I’m Niki, a born and raised Buckeye who like many others migrated south to Charlotte with my now husband, Mike.  You will usually find me with my three blondie kids, Casey (12), Cameron (10) and Mallory (7) in tow.  I am a former children’s gym owner with Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Health and Sport Studies.  I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and have always had a passion for eating clean and an innate desire to protect where we live for the generations to come. I realize that life isn’t always easy so I wanted to help individuals and families sort through the clutter and challenges of fast-paced, hyper-consumerism lifestyles and live more simple, more nourished lives.  I am an avid recycler, aspiring minimalist and self-proclaimed tree-hugger.  Mostly, I’m looking forward to sharing this vision with you and helping you create your own vision of health, happiness and sustainability.

Amy Taylor, MS, Certified Integrative Health Coach

Hello.  I’m Amy Taylor, the lucky mom of two fabulous boys, Jake and Sam, and partner in life and crime (aka: wife) to Trent, my best friend on the planet. Professionally, I am an Integrative Health and Eco-wellness Coach.  My passions are two-fold:

1)Training individuals and families on how to become discernible, conscious consumers.

Conscious consumption applies to all areas of our lives, from the food we eat, to the media we consume, as well as the energy we use and the products we buy. Being mindful of how we consume not only creates a healthier, happier family and you, it guarantees a healthier, happier planet, too. Big bonus.

2)Helping those struggling with their health, weight and energy learn to view whole foods as their most essential tool for radical transformation.

Beyond my training from Institute for Integrative Nutrition, my passion for food as our primary medicine comes from my own personal journey. My own struggles when I was young with eating disorders followed by a long-time unhealthy relationship with food, negatively impacted my life for far too long.  When I became a mom, the challenge of raising young children in a world of fast, convenient, and processed everything, propelled me into years of practical experience, research, and application in the field of holistic health and nutrition. Understanding the health and vitality implications that accompany our food choices truly changed my life. I love helping people discover that transformational power for themselves!

By the way, I also hold a graduate degree in telecommunications where my research focused on children’s educational media as well as the effects of media violence on child development.  I still use my formal education daily when trying to coax my boys away from their many electronic devices.

Elizabeth Schultz, Certified Integrative Health Coach

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a mom of two wonderful kids, wife, foodie, yogi, dog rescuer, and ‘green’ girl extraordinaire! I have a Bachelors Degree in both Communications and Business Administration.  And after becoming a mom, I decided to go back to school to pursue my lifelong passion of health and wellness!  I am now an Integrative Health Coach through The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and an Environmental Toxins Specialist. It was while continuing my education in environmental toxins, that I began to realize the profound role that toxins play in our health and that toxins can be linked to almost every major health condition that we are all desperately trying to avoid! I created Your Daily Detox as a means to provide sustainable tips that we can all do on a daily basis to minimize our risks of toxic exposures in what we ingest, absorb and inhale.  By aligning with equally eco-awesome Niki & Amy, we will hopefully be able to extend our reach to help people simplify and lead greener, healthier lives.  I am thrilled to be able to combine my love for health, home and our environment in my profession, because it is my belief that in working with nature to heal ourselves, we can in turn heal nature!
